Agree. Completely different performances.

We were somewhat disjointed when going forwards until Hernandez came on
(whereupon he was magnificent) but we had Cibicki making his debut and his
first ever match in English football and Grot making his full debut (and by
all accounts he is a work in progress). Daft to be forming any judgments
about either of those lads yet, but their presence meant we lacked fluidity
/ link up that we have with Saiz there. I thought Roofe was sparky, and
Dallas as ever puts in a solid shift wherever he plays on the pitch. And as
a real bonus Sacko suddenly looked like old Sacko - direct and running at
full backs.

We weren't outmuscled at all - Vieira really put himself about. Occasional
misplaced passes, but he has had limited match time and he constantly
wanted to be involved for 120 minutes. Other seemed more excited by Klich
that I was but he did a job.

Centre backs were the stars for me - Shaughnessy as a young lad who was a
centre midfielder until this season and Ayling who just gets better and
better wherever we play him.

The only 'disappointment' if you want to call it that from last night was
the goals we conceded - I really didn't see where Burnley would score last
night. All huff and puff but no real creativity. Having got ahead (twice)
we gave them silly ways back in to the game twice with a stupid foul by
Berardi (immediately after the ref had warned other players for holding in
the box so was obviously watching for it) and then unnecessary random panic
play when we just needed to play the game out and a soft foul by Vieira to
give them the free kick they scored. We'll learn from that though. Plus CBJ
was obviously god awful.
