I’m definitely a snowflake and I hug trees and don’t wash regularly, but when
deciding on things I prefer facts to opinions, which of course you are entitled
to have and express on an open forum. Of course you don’t like facts and stats
that contradict your opinions, who does, but just ignoring them and accusing
others of getting upset is a bit rich (pun intended). If you think 16% is
“frequent” in the context of a fast flowing match against committed (albeit
limited) opponents, can you give us an example of the stats you would expect
from an ABOVE average player, one that would reduce the pain you say you feel
from watching one of our most improved and committed players? C’mon Rich, we
all know your schtick on here & Twitter is to be angry and contrarian to wind
people up, but you’re amongst friends here, just once, just for us, crack and
smile and gives us a WHOOP – promise we won’t tell anyone.

Subject: Re: [LU] Kalvin Phillips' averageness in stats.

stats are stats and looking at those they mean nothing. For instance they don't
include his shot that went over the stand in the first half.

I'd prefer to go with what I saw and overall I thought Philips did ok with a
definite improvement in the second half with one or two really good passes.

First half though, he was dreadful. His passing was all over the place,
frequently giving the ball away (that must have been the 16% inaccurate
passes). The most worrying thing is when he got done for pace by Towell and you
could see he just didn't have the acceleration to recover.

I like Philips, he's a local lad and he's doing ok at this moment in time but
let's have a reality check. Some fans are saying he could be England captain
whereas I think he's a good championship player and would struggle in the PL.

It makes me laugh when fans get all upset when you point out a player's faults
in a match and get all abusive and start crying particular on Twitter however
there are 1 or 2 snowflakes on here. Come on, grow up FFS.
