Subject: [LU] How do you solve a problem like Paul Madeley?
Whiling away the time during this infernal international break, i was
pondering on line-ups and it occurred to me that Stuart Dallas has become
the Paul Madeley de nos jours............ie simultaneously one of the first
names on the teamlist, but at the same time posing the question where do
you fit him in if everyone is fit.
Which led me to propose an intellectual exercise for all you listers out
there: In the (highly unlikely, I admit) event that everyone is fit and
available to play............A. What do you think Bielsa's lineup would be,
and B. What would your lineup be?
To get things rolling, here are my answers.
A. (4141) Casilla; Ayling, Cooper, White, Alioski: Philips; Harrison,
Klich, Forshaw, Pablo; Bamford.
{Or, if I'm allowed a caveat, he might play 3133 and play Dallas in the
middle in place of Alioski.}
B. Er, harsh though it may seem on Dallas, I think my team would be the
same as that above.
