We've conceded 7 goals true, but three of those have been penalties. We'll tighten that up no problem once our new signings get up to speed with the pace of the prem. I think Koch will turn into a real find once he settles in a bit more and will make a good partnership with Cooper. Struijk is a nice back up in that position or as cover for Phillips. Rodrigo has failed to impress so far but again feel he needs time, it's not through lack of effort, he's working hard, just doesn't seem in sync with the other players yet.
Maybe a proper left back, I like Dallas but not sure that's his natural position. Definitely need a replacement for Pablo, I hope we can land De Paul but am glad we're not just throwing money around and are thinking carefully about deals. Rumors of Dan James are interesting, maybe as a loan but is he better than Costa or Harrison at this point? Bamford, Costa, Ayling, and Klich have been standouts for me so far. Harrison great against Liverpool but quiet against Fulham (though I admit I turned off the last twenty minutes!) Phillips solid but lost his man too easily for Fulham's second goal which got them back in the game. Meslier, generally good but still learning, could have done better with Fulham's second I thought. Overall though I like him a lot, way better than Kiko as we all know by now. Sheff U will be interesting, hoping for a 0-0 or 1-1 draw. 4 points from every 3 games throughout the season will be enough to keep us up and that's all I care about! 9th place, above Man U and Chelsea, I'll take that any day! I’m hoping this week we’ll see some transfer interest deliver a player or two, but whilst we wait I’m just depressing myself watching MOTD, and thinking Vardy, Son - just how do we cope with electric pace, and even quicker thinking? It is clear that even being 4-1 up isn’t a comfortable position in this league, even against limited opposition. The Sheffield United I remember hopefully don’t pose the same threats up front (famous last words), so we maybe have 2 weeks to sort out the defensive frailties? I wouldn’t have been unhappy continuing with the Koch/Struijk centre half pairing tbh - I think Cooper’s limited pace will be a big factor in many games. Winning feels good, but our defence? _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: https://nam05.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmailman.gn.apc.org%2Fmailman%2Flistinfo%2Fleedslist&data=02%7C01%7C%7Ce0012d5e389545009f1508d85db672dc%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637362385485195352&sdata=hWo066iRGugjLq3d19aa011M1zF10TiYi%2Bt2Utne8zQ%3D&reserved=0 To unsubscribe, email leedslist-unsubscr...@gn.apc.org Find us on Facebook https://nam05.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fgroups%2Fleedslist%2F&data=02%7C01%7C%7Ce0012d5e389545009f1508d85db672dc%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C637362385485195352&sdata=iw8hdYnDEHmtXDobnqNcQHk3%2FIDwlD%2BSk2m%2F7FrU2d8%3D&reserved=0 Dorigo's Right Buttock... _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: https://mailman.gn.apc.org/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email leedslist-unsubscr...@gn.apc.org Find us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/leedslist/ Dorigo's Right Buttock...
