I'll throw a wild one out there ... 10th to 8th will do me just fine
this year. Don't want a Europa place, it's too soon.
Wolves did this 3 years ago when they played some great football and had
(Still have) a very good manager in place. I think they finished 7th and
got (from memory) about 3 weeks off before having to start playing
Europa qualifiers in Timbuktu! They managed to do OK'ish last season,
but were showing signs of fatigue and this season they are struggling to
keep that up (Yes, in part due to a horrible injury and losing a couple
of start players).
For me finishing top 10 BUT NO FURTHER, would be perfect. KEY focus now
should be to secure that DEFINITE top flight for next season and start
shopping, now. Lure the names we need, move on those we don't and prep
for next season (Hopefully with crowds), then push on next year and
target a potential Europa place then. Better squad, European football
lure for top players ...
Then the ground
Then Champs League
Then THE WORLD!!! Mwahahahahaha
