Not so much a must win game, but definitely a need to win match, otherwise the chasing pack will be nudging past us. Whilst Sheff Utd and West Brom are pretty much down, Fulham look pretty good in patches and they’re more than capable of putting a few wins together. Of course we can always play our Joker - Newcastle ;-)
I’ve not seen any team news but I doubt Llorente will get the nod over Struijk, but you never know. I like the way Southampton play - they were probably the team most like us at the beginning of the season. Here’s a question for you - do you think Bielsa has changed the entire Premiership? I see his stamp on lots of teams. The attacking en masse, the intricate triangles out wide, the pressing etc. Since our first game at Liverpool time and again teams have overloaded their attacks them for instance, and suddenly they’re much more suspect. OK, they lost Virgil VD, but Bielsa showed how to play against them. Anyway, hoping for a decent performance tonight, and 3 points.
