All the talk about Gomez’s backpass being the fault for the first goal, but
what was Virgil Billy Big Bollox Van Dijk doing - Rodrigo ran straight past him
- Van Dijk was half asleep.

The one thing I take from that game, regardless of the luck, Mesliers saves
etc, is that the players clearly buy into Marsch’s ‘vision’. Whilst I remain to
be convinced about this ‘style’, the players played out of their skins
yesterday, and Marsch kept repeating we, we, we! I think eventually, with all
his tinkering, he will settle on his favoured starting xi?
In Cooper we have one of those players who makes us look more solid, but always
has a f*** up in him - 2 yesterday - what was he doing in the 1st minute, and
his bambi impression later was embarrassing. Struijk would be a much better
centre half, but then that brings Firpo back into the equation, which isn’t a
good thing imho.

Beat Bournemouth and we can have a few weeks looking at the league table
without fearing the worst?
