What a result- keeps Marsch in a job , though a defeat v Bournemouth could
change that,  and to be fair he deserves his chance. The players seem to be
behind him and that could be all we need to stay up.
I WhatsApped my mates just before kick off saying I had no optimism and worse
no enthusiasm for the game.  Later I even slagged off Summerville saying he was
struggling to make an impact and was worried about him- brilliant in u23s etc
but not good enough at thus level.  I criticised keeping him on when Harrison
got pulled ! Perhaps sometimes the manager does know better than me ?
Really pleased to see him score and hope it really kick starts his first team
career,  he does have something about himGnonto also impressed,  I loved the
way he rolled Milner, and it was a decent ball in. He looks composed and could
be a decent impact sub in the coming weeks.
Despite 2 in 2 I just don't get Rodrigo but we have no real option when Bamford
looks so out of sorts- he needs a tap in a la Rods goal.
Overall great result BUT we need to build on it, we totally failed to build on
the Arsenal performance.  It is no coincidence that our best ( only ?)   good
displays have been v the better sides - Chelsea,  Arsenal and liverpool.  We
are good at the counter press / attack but struggle to break down teams set up
to stifle us. Until this is sorted we are going to struggle and we cant
possibly rely on getting results against the top teams
Still that is nit picking after a great performance and wonderful result.
Finally what is the score with Summervilles teeth ???? Makes klopp gnashers
look real

My take is that Meslier did not call...........Cooper was watching the ball
and expecting to nod it back to the keeper when the latter suddenly
appeared in the corner of his eye............all he could do was divert the
ball away from danger as best he could.

Anyway.............all pretty irrelevant in the context of a GREAT
performance.

I think one of the most telling images were of the hugs Marsch got from
Roca & Kristensen at fulltime. They really do seem to be all in this
together.

Harrison though..............needs dropping when Sini is fit again.
