There was in an incident in Edinburgh last night of a father and his young son beaten up after the the game because they were wearing England shirts. I have lived in Scotland 6 years, and I have been spat at while wearing an England shirt, so I simply don't bother any more. For some reason many Scots can't forgive the English for what was done 400 and 500 years ago. The media don't help with the constant ramblings of 1966, yes we won it, but do we really need to be reminded of it every time England play? Even during a game during a world cup game that does not include England the commentators mention it, its boring and unnecessary.
