I actually didn't believe we'd go down until the last 2 weeks. Runt & Poyet do
have something as a managerial team, the team are playing a bit better etc, BUT
other teams are also starting to get their collective acts together. So,
without a run of 4 or 5 straight wins we are not going to get out of this, and
unless we get between 3 and 11 players we're not going to win 4 or 5 on the
trot.

Amazing what the sale of Hulse and loss of Miller (who I thought was hit and
miss) has done? Hope I'm wrong, but there's a hidous inevitability about events
- Risible's spending, O'Weary, wear-pig being found out, Roque Jnr,
Monkey-heed, Venables, Ken Beast, Blackwells inability, Beast's inability to
deal with Blackwells inability, the rumours of Runt, the arrival of runt. The
only icing on the cake, and it'll be a very thin layer indeed, is Runt's
reputation will be all but shot! Expect the crowd to turn when we get dicked by
Hull, pitch invasions will follow blah blah blah.

So Rob, how many points needed for safety? More than we'll get!! Sad, but
probably true.

Merry Xmas from the Land of the Gods.

  John

Come on all you experts and stattoes..........it's time to get down to
the nitty-gritty. Exactly how many bleeding points does the received
wisdom say we need in this poxy division to keep our heads above water
come the end of May?
