Some stuff on WACCOE from those who visited TA on Monday as player sponsors:
This lad's firm sponsors Derry: "Right, first off they were all there, every man jack of them. It was intimated that Thompson [though not named] was not the culprit. It was also mentioned that Sean Derry had been very upset about the speculation on here. However, if there's a vacuum people are going to fill it. There needs to be closure from the club. What is clear is that other than Wise & Poyet no-one knows for sure who it is. The saddest thing was we were told it's far more serious than just handing over a team sheet. We were told no announcement will be made, that is a mistake imho. Wise seemed very quiet and withdrawn. Sean Derry showed us the cyst on his heel and it's bloody nasty, nine players having treatment in total. Howson & Douglas looked good in training which it must be said was far more effective than the previous three years. Someone i won't name had a go at Nicholls over his Norwich performance, just as well he's 6'8"and about 20 stone cos it could have got very nasty. :-) Another bizarre day, but not in the least bit surprising." _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
