Whether or not there is any physical injury problem, and Kelly himself is reported to have personally told fans that he is FIT and not injured, there have been strong indications of a financial injury problem which dates back to before Christmas. At one point it was suggested that Kelly would not pull on the shirt again, for whatever reason. That information appeared to be false as Kelly appeared to be close to returning to the team but as it turns out whatever the problem is seems to have persisted. The club are issuing leaflets inviting fans to come to celebrate Kellys retirement.
