The BBC Radio Leeds forum was online last night so I suppose everyone was glued to their machines listening to Shaun (?) Harvey playing a straight bat to all concerned. Few points:
1) the club do not know who was the Palace mole 2) the manager is under no pressure not to pick any player for financial reasons 3) Gary Kelly went for an MRI scan yesterday (Feb 13) so he must be injured 4) Gary Kelly originally had a back injury and that got better 5) The board has made substantial investment in the club since Bates took over. OK, not actually put any money in themselves but made sure that they have borrowed money to pay off some of the excesses from the Ridsdale borrowings 6) Peter Lorimer can hardly bring himself to look Ridsdale in the face these days because of how he damaged the club 7) Eddie Gray doesn't understand why such a key player as Gary Kelly wasn't receiving intensive treatment at the club for his injury, which is what he would have expected to see 8) Mr Harvey didn't like to bother everyone at a public meeting by going into esoteric technical stuff, like who owns the club So, pretty much as could be expected, apart from the fact that the club claims not to know who is the mole. Dunderhead If you're not pissed off, you're not paying attention _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
