There were many reasons for our decline and fall but one of the first precipitating factors was O'Leary distancing himself from the team and Kidd taking his place. Aligning him with Robson is one of the more classic directorial errors, fit to rank with allowing O'Leary to buy Fowler, Keane, Johnson et.al. when other positions needed strengthening and then appointing Terry Venables. I almost feel sorry for Blades fans............... sorry, I just had to break off there to have a little giggle. Should we get promotion next season I wouldn't be too surprised to see Sheffield pass us in the oposite direction with them two running things.
