Assumes, rightly or wrongly, that these interested parties can prove the connections - its not up to Bates to disprove, the onus would be on the others to prove a connection. I dont think Bates is a fool, and even is the innuendo is correct, I doubt it will be traceable or provable (is there such a word???) > > I think that would be a very interesting challenge, for all concerned, > with > demands for transparency of interest being undoubtedly to the fore. Your quite possibly correct, but I would be stunned if Bates hasnt got most of these companies and alliances in off-shore interests that wouldnt have to disclose anything to British legal system, let alone a civil suit. Yes bates has a history of Bluster and Fluff for the media, (of which I have fallen for on a number of ocassions) but this is crunch time - if he doesnt challenge, he loses everything, so I do fully expect a challenge Pete C (The t'other one with an IQ less than 10) _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
