Agreed Paul,

What's more, "Borrowed and spent" on what? "On paper" is about the most
logical explanation 'cos otherwise all the club has to show for such,
supposed spending is more debt (Oh did I mention the 7.7 million "borrowed"
from the taxman?)and that sort of spending / economics doesn't seem to gel
too, well with his other assertion that he had, also "got the club turned
round" and "got rid of all the bad organization"

The man is a pathological liar.. He has no grounds for a challenge, other
than as an attempt to disrupt the recovery, for everyone else (will the
bates apologists be moaning about the lack of signings or planning for the
new season then?) as the administrators have every right to do what they are
doing... (setting aside the fact that they seem hell bent on making sure
that any rival bid is done in as rushed and blind a fashion as possible)..

Bates is still trying to use the scare and threat cards to try to stir up
support for his bid and in spite of the evidence that several offers to the
CVA meeting were considerably more generous and well funded, than the one(s)
from Bates he still has the arrogance to claim that his is the best and the
"only" one that should be accepted.

If the bids are, truly supposed to be secret then it is amusing that Bates
is openly announcing the terms of his and also apparently has enough
knowledge of his possible rivals' bids to be able to make claims about
theirs being "offers they could struggle to meet."

What does he know ahead of time that apparently no one else does?

All fodder for those of us who think, like Rick when he so astutely asks
... "What answer will the FL give when approached by KPMGs latest attempt to
leave the club in Bates' hands?"
