Just read the KPMG statement on the LUFC website, it says that the FL only automatically grant the golden shower to clubs who go through a completed CVA, except in exceptional circumstances. As our CVA had to be scrapped because of the HMRC challenge (and the timings) they were never going to automatically grant the golden shower.
So, now we have been sold to new owners but we didn't do it via CVA then we have to wait and see if the FL will shower us. The FL have known we would be bought outside the CVA since last Thursday, how can they not have already met and decided what they are going to do?
