..Wha?!?!  Do you know?  Why are you asking us?  Does the answer need to be
in 2000 words?  Does it have to be submitted before PE tomorrow afternoon?

If you have something to say, just say it.

FWIW the only relevant conditions were in the Pearson bid, he wanted a
guarantee that we would get the Golden Share, the FL would not agree that
new owners automatically got the golden share, so his bid was discounted.

I have also read that Bates' bid was unconditional.

Is that the answer?
