I sent another email to the FL on Friday basically chasing up to see what
the continued delay was/is.

I got a reply this morning, most of it was clarifying the role of the FL in
these situations, I haven't checked but I am guessing it is word for word
what they sent Betty.

At the bottom though was the following, which indicates that they still do
not think they have the 'assurances' they require.

Does anyone know what form these assurances need to be in? Cash in the
bank?

" When a club is looking to exit administration or administrative
receivership and move into the hands of new owners The League has a degree
of control in terms of assuring the new owners can support the club going
forward (The League does not have the same control when a private sale takes
place as it has no legislative control over a private business in this
regard). This is to secure the long-term future of the club going forward
and the press release on our website indicates that certain documentation
and assurances regading the sale of the club are required."
