Ok, maybe I'm wrong But we have played a friendly in Ireland - that would have cost a few quid to get there and stay in hotels etc Now were are off to Germany - same situation Why are we not playing friendlies in Yorks, Lancs area, not as though there are not a few club to choose from, and only a bus journey away - maybe LUST should ask this question when we are totally broke, and watch our beloved team spend money we don't have, and prove to those that need proving that the club club is actually being sensible with its money. Is this being funded with season ticket money, have we got an overdraft to subsidise this jolly? Just a thought..... and please don't put any Journo's onto me for asking the question Rick (sic) I recall in the mid to late 80's Preston NE playing pre season, v the likes of Forfar, Arbroath and stayed at RAF Leuchars ! I made Sammy Mcillroy a birthday cake, think it was his 40th but may be wrong, was very excited when I got a Directors seat at Arbroath in return, to find out it was a wooden seat, with no perks, my vision was ruined thereafter of cushioned boxes etc for those who are worthy Mark...... Paul is ok, and bats on the side of common sense My advice is leave the discussion behind, its more like a cryptic maze, and you'll never get a straight answer
