> Who do you think has "forced" KPMG "down a particular path"

No facts to support this at present so chances are that it is incorrect
analysis due to the current fog added to the paranoia induced by watching
this unfold.
The imminent revelations to the creditors plus the promised answer to the
fans questions (in the letters) may allow the following to be eliminated
from our enquiries.

Walker Morris register Astors debenture at companies house.
Football League themselves bring up and point out exceptional/unusual
circumstances clause at CVA meeting. Twice. Walker Morris visibly disturbed
by this and protest at the meeting that this has never happened before. KPMG
stress the "uncertainty factor" (subject to confirmation in the long delayed
minutes).
The day is won but HMRC challenge.
KPMG go to second bidding process.
Non-Bates bids are understood to include money conditional on Golden Share.
If unusual circumstances are allowed then Bates may lose the bidding -
UNCONFIRMED

Bates wins the bidding.
Pause for thought and analysis required here.

KPMG say, so long and thanks for all the fish, kiss goodbye and good luck in
getting the golden share back..
FL delay LU regaining the golden share and appear unwilling/unable to apply
unusual circumstances get-out.
Conclusions - non yet. We need evidence. Circumstantial alarm bells ringing
like the Blitz.
Who - We don't know but we do know who has been suggesting that we be very
careful about what we say. (So at least we know that somebody is being made
uncomfortable). One thing we need to know is exactly how does that really
irritating itchy bit managege to stay just out of easy reach ? Just where
you can't scratch it with nobody noticing.
