Speaking academically; I am surprisd that none of the other bidders did not register (or take-over) a fall-back club in the "Leeds Sunday School League" (? whatever ?). At worst they could have "donated" the club back to a band of enthuiastic volunteers, at best, they have all in place to insert an alternative club should Bates fail. I am sure the City Council would have backed the "alternative" should it become relevant.
