Maybe I am over reacting. I have worked in/for and watched it allover the
place and I love non league football (as opposed to any particular team. I
follow dozens of them usually based on where I am living at the time) and see
it as different to league football but it annoys me when they try and emulate
the professional leagues. Farsley celtic exists for the community of the area
not to try and poach Leeds fans or rival leeds or whatever.
Plus its a little bit of home and potential bragging rights to the cockneys I
live amongst that my village team is up with the big boys now.
Having had more experience of it than most thats why I get annoyed with the
likes of FCUM AFC wimbledon AFC Barnsley and talk of AFC Leeds. People dont
realise the negative impact of these clubs on what are basically community
leagues.
