Why? Ridsdale over speculated in the chase for glory, EVERY premiership club has to spend that sort of money for success. Ridsdale didn't get us relegated, Bates did. Ridsdale didn't put us into administration, Bates did. Ridsdale didn't lose us the golden share, Bates did. Ridsdale employed former England manager Terry Venables, Bates employed former convict Dennis Wise.
