Why?
Ridsdale over speculated in the chase for glory, EVERY premiership club has
to spend that sort of money for success.
Ridsdale didn't get us relegated, Bates did.
Ridsdale didn't put us into administration, Bates did.
Ridsdale didn't lose us the golden share, Bates did.
Ridsdale employed former England manager Terry Venables, Bates employed
former convict Dennis Wise.
Ridsdale probably wasn't acting autonomously, you can be almost certain that
Bates is.

Bollox. That's like blaming the first owner of your second hand car because
your big end as gone.

Really, why then were Bates and Taylor proclaiming we'd be debt free by this
summer, if things were so bad we'd need receivership by this summer? They
obviously didn't think it was inevitable.

And closer to the truth than claiming receivership was ALWAYS inevitable
imho.

That infers it is due to his competence - which suggests he has everything
under control and so I fail to see why you are getting so hot under the
collar. Bates has it all in hand so calm down.

Stranger things have happened, it's you lot that keep telling us that all is
fair in business. How shafting a few innocents for profit is ok. Maybe Bates
thinks that £60m is well worth selling LUFC down the river.
