You're obviously forgetting the "Emperor's New Clothes, school of debate," where such tactics are not only allowable, but to be encouraged. You know it's not fair to go around using, normally accepted debate rules, if you don't specify, up front in triplicate and signed in the blood of an endangered species (and no the truth doesn't count, even if it is wounded severely and bleeding profusely of late, in these parts.).. Now calm down and repeat to yourself and the list in general... "Anything other than Mark and Mark's opinion, disguised as fact is STUPID" Now don't we all feel much better.?
