Mawhinney has been talking, and in essence what was on WACCOE is correct.

The Football League appear to have squared things with HMRC but there is 
no proof of this yet.

I understand that the drawing up of the contract between Leeds United 
and the Football League is the "fix" that will resolve the situation and 
not the infamous exceptional circumstances rule.  It should also protect 
the FL from any backlash from its member clubs.

Maybe this is why Mr Bates is being so quiet because if Leeds sign this, 
he has had to agree to be a good little boy and wash behind his 
ears.............

More as and when I can be bothered to ease off on the grass cutting.

So how long do we give Mawhinney before he euphemistically "moves on"?
