On Satdi I'm off to the Wigan game on my own because our lass is taking the lad to a birthday party and my dad is at Hellifield Gala watching his other grandson be a crocodile.
I think this will be Leeds United's last game... I really do... and of my best mates one's a Sunderland fan and the other lives in Toronto. I'm honestly not too proud to drink on my own, but if any listers are off to the Wigan match and fancy a pint or two or 6 before the game speak up now. It's funny... me and the missus were watching the "seven Ages of Rock", that BBC2 documentary (if you will "rockumentary") that we'd recorded. It was the one about stadium rock, and she said that Queen in a massive stadium must have sent a shiver down the spine. "Yes", I said: almost as good as MOT at ER" and she said she always liked "We're Leeds and we're proud of it" and never more so that when Arsenal beat us 4-1 in that relegation season. I think she was right. Whether we hate Bates, Ridsdale and Smith or even love Kandol, Gregan and Viduka... we've been through it all together...
