Hi Summing up today's events. 1. The FL has said clearly CVA only. Get back to the CVA arrangement. 2. Private Eye states or hints that the creditors Astor and maybe others are in fact Discretional Trusts. And that KFC has some hold over them. KFC & Astor were in tandem concerning the selling if Chelsea. I do not think the tax issue is the burning issue. We are virtually seeing three events: 1. Bates and his now you see them now you dont partners. Which makes everyone suspicious. 2. Bates dragging Leeds United through a 'in your face' bancruptcy rip off. Which pissed of the tax people. 3. Bates manipulating te FL's rules and dodging a 10 point fine. Which pissed of the league.
This is not good typical red blood business strategy.This is a fool runnig amok. think that Bates will have to back down and fast. But how can he do that without losing control or showing his hand with his muckers? The one good thing is that we cannot be fined again. I feel [and I maybe wrong] that the FL are after Bates and trying to save Leeds United. Bates will wreck Leeds United if he has to walk away losing everything. Plus Bates is an arrogant but lucky gambler. He got all his Leeds bancruptcy strategy wrong. As he did with Chelsea but there the 'Roman Heavies' saved his arse. More good luck than good management. Luck can run out more readily than an aging leopard can change its spot.
