At last - someone who realises there is a difference between south of the river and South Yorkshire
What's this South Yorkshire shite? West Riding, East Riding and North Riding is Yorkshire.... Hunslet Feast - ah yes, my first induction to the delicacy of Brandy Snap Hunslet RLFC - watched my elder brother who was 14 at the time lose his RUGBY UNION final 9-3 at that ground (he scored the three points) whilst playing for Parkside Secondary, then I went back a couple of weeks later to sample the Hunslet feast! Then they turned the feckin' place into an industrial estate! Anyone remember the old derelict Air Cadets place, with all the old military vehicles dumped in it -somewhere between the Broadway/allotments and Remploy? For you lot north of the river, that's slumland; and for those of us from Beeston, that's the area just east of the Dewsbury Road allotments, but not quite as far as the Crescent Cinema or the site of the feast!
