There appears to be a strong whiff of prawn emanating from this post :-)

I did feel so sorry for the rugger chaps coming home to the rapturous
applause of 2 bag handlers and a crow that was out looking for worms. And ooh,
didn't they look rough after their night out with young Hewitt and JugLugs - 2
champers and they're out of it.

Anyway, I don't think this is my favourite topic, so I'll leave it at:

Rugby Union - sh*te code, watched by knobs (in Ingerland at least), and
understood by practically no-one. Well done England, you've set back it's
development by years :-)

  Huzzaaah!

Ahhh John, back on to your favourite Socialist topic aren't we? My how all
those public schoolboy rah rah types don't appeciate t'working class
proper mans game of Rugby League. Rugby League fans are, without a shadow
of a doubt, THE biggest snobs in sport. My cock's bigger than your cock
playground mentality all the way. 100% League 0% Union stickers in the
car, "It's just kick and clap" yada yada ad infinitum.
Fortunately I can appreciate both games and feel all the better for it.
The Grand Final was a magnificent performance from Leeds, fantastic game
plan and superbly executed after a shaky start. The RU World Cup final?
Pretty intense at the time (Sat in an Irish bar in Valencia with 2 stag
do's and fairly pissed at the time!) but, yes looking back a VERY
disappointing end to a refreshingly upset strewn competition (At least
there could have been 6 winners in Union unlike THE complete waste of time
.. The Rugby League World Cup!). The fact most people are lead by the
media and not their brains these days explains a lot, "The try that should
have been" crap etc. All pandering to the Nationalist within with shots of
Charlie and Hewitts offspring claiming a try (Shows how much those public
schoolboys know about the game). When they should have been asking about
the two crossing penalties that weren't and were given that changed the
game.
