I think Rugby League is a very different proposition than other sports when
rivalries are considered. At Grand Finals you get fans of all teams, in team
colours, all supporting the game. OK, there are rivalries - for Leeds as a team
then Saints and Bratfud, simply because they've been top of the pile of and on
for some time. For the fans, I'd wager Hull are the real mob of 'dislikees',
although they're on a par with St Helens (it all started with Tommy cheating
c*** Martyn for me!!). The only grounds where this rivalry might ever cause an
issue would be Saints and Hull. Hull are a different breed!

'Tis all getting a bit deep.

To be honest, I have never really hated the rhinos in the same way that I
dislike scum or bratfud shitty, dunno why as I have always thought that the
supporting of RL teams is a bit more tribal than footie.

Bulls and Rhinos does not compare to Leeds and Scum as it takes the rivalry
across the county line and Yorks/lancs rivalry predates both sports.
In the Grand Final I wanted Leeds to win because in order to sweeten the
bitter pill I saw it as Yorks v Everyone Else.

Or to look at it in a different way - Both teams play in White.
