Rate of progress upthe league has slowed because the others around us are
winning or drawing compared to at the bottom whn everyone was losing and we
made 3 points progress per game

Sorry to actually mention Leeds United.
Looking at the tables we have played 14 and halved our gap with the top
place to 7 points. Our rate of ascent has slowed.
We have been quite lucky.
But then again we have played mainly all the top half.
So I reckon it will take at least 20 games to get to the top. But maybe it
is not do-able
Are we the best team amongst the leaders?
Will any two of them put on a 'sprint'?
I still think that 15 points was a diabolical unjustifiable unsporting and
outrageous decision.
I still think that it is obligatory to have it overturned
What can we do?
Turning to the MPs or even FIFA or EU court of justice worth considering?
I am not joking.
As for the unusual event in 1946-7. It is obvious. When they sang the
national anthem the players were not chewing gum or hawking phlegm or
humming the words.
