Of course we can, but 3 points now means less than it did on day 1
(There's probably a mathematical name for this but ... well I can't be
arsed to be honest!)
15 games gone, essentially a third of the season. We started at -15 on the
leaders, we're now -5. If the next 15 games are identical, we'll be 5
points clear after 30 games BUT of course it doesn't work like that. What
we simply have to do now is target one place at a time, get to 6th, then
5th, then 4th etc etc. Any moves up by more than one place we class as a
bonus.
I posted earlier (But am obviously so boring no-one responded!) that IMHO
if we are in a similar position by January then, if the management have
anything about them, we'll make the right buys and finish the second half
EVEN STRONGER!
So Yes, is the simple answer!
