Casper-6 One decent save...dodgy on crosses and corners. Huntingdon-4 Horrible at LB...okay as CB. Marques-5 Expected more from the match reports on the Leeds list. Heath-6 Solid if very slow. Parker-7 Liked the lad. A couple of cracking free kick crosses and plays to the feet from the back. Weston-1 Absolute shit. Douglas-5 Workman like and at times the outside of the boot passing made me think he is Div. 1 Zidane...he's not. Howson-7 Very good. Solid if not spectacular. Held the ball well and almost always found a yellow shirt. Carole-5 Always feels like he has to beat a man even when he's got the open cross. And like J.Cole for England it is maddening to me to have a right footed left midfield. He always cut inside! Beckford-4 some nice attempted shots...but not quick enough with the trigger at other times. Looked lazy. Kandol-1 It's been a while since I've seen a forward this BAD. I can think of NOTHING positive about his play whatsoever...get rid as soon as we have a replacement ready.
Da Costa-Looked good for the first two minutes and then was anon as we were defending. Constantine-Not on long enough. I thought both subs were the correct decisions except should have been done with 30 minutes to go. I was VERY disappointed with BOTH the forwards. All in all a decent result away from home against a team and support that was well up for their televised "cup final". The return leg won't be so hard.
