Get a grip.

Wise was on a 1 year rolling contract. He was probably offered more money
and a longer contract to go to a Premiership club. He'd be stupid to turn
that down, whatever the circumstances, he's only human.

There's no loyalty in football, although I guess it was a difficult
discussion between him and Bates, who he's supposed to be quite close to.

Players are used to change of managers and they've had a ton of disruption
already; having all that shit to deal with last summer and 5 changes just a
couple of weeks ago.

The club will move on, I think Wise knew that his influence was on the wane
given the results over the last 2 months - some people had begun to see that
too.

I don't think he's betrayed the club at all, he stayed with the club through
very difficult circumstances last summer.
