Dunno about that.... most plane crashes there have ever been get
mentioned at least once a week on the National Geographic channel.... (I
must have seen that one that crashed into the sea dozens of times)

Oh, hang on though - only the ones from American carriers are featured
for some reason, so Munich and the recent one at Heathrow won't be shown
- wonder why this is ;-)

I have no objection to those that feel so inclined to show their
feelings about it - fair enough, but, like you John, I want no part of
it thank you - what annoyed me about this was a threat to ban anyone for
LIFE!! from football matches if they do not observe the minutes silence
in the upcoming derby game in Manchester - I wonder, would this be legal
in any way? I am not suggesting nor condoning disturbing others in their
feelings, just wondering when this legislation passed through
parliament?

Steve

Does anyone know if there has been more than 1 plane crash in the last
50 years, and if so if they are mentioned on the national news/press ad
infinitum? Didn't Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper (and give me him over a
Busby Babe in terms of who I'd save first!) have a little incident with
a plane - can't understand why it isn't mentioned on News at 10?

And seeing Dickie Bird blubbing over his best mate from Barnsley who
was on the plane - soft get!

IT WAS 50 YEARS AGO - FFS, GET OVER IT!!!
