WAHEY! Show's you my powers of predicting the future remain as accurate
as always. If anyone wants info on pools, perms etc, just drop me a
line: i give you my ingenious foresight and you pick the opposite for a
small fortune!

Obviously a MUCH improved performance last night with the biggest
turnaround being that of Howson - on Monday's showing he was a prime
candidate for being dropped.

Overall the midfield for me was STILL very poor in parts with Kilkenny
still not resembling much of a winger and Johnson as LB - dear oh
dear... hopefully Sheehan for the final and Johnson on his rightful left
wing will improve things greatly. Richardson was quite good, if not the
final ball on many crosses. Beckford not at himself yet, but the law of
averages says that at Wembley he'll get one...

Big smiley head today.

I wish I could share the optimism of many of you today.

I actually missed Freedman's goal last night as I'd gone to the jacks
for a slash before heading home thinking that I wouldn't even have made
the toilets by the time the ref blew the whistle.

Prior to that there was nothing to provide hope for the next leg
whatsoever and then to see Kandol blarging a couple of "shots" about 10m
wide of the same post in quick succession was just the fekkn tin hat.

The midfield was non-existant and the fact that Richardson had two to
contend with two for the 2nd goal was damning.

For Thursday's game against the team with the best home record in L1, I
have no hope whatsoever I'm afraid. We might score, but I cannot see
foresee us beating them - unless their goalkeeper is as bad as he was
good last night.

BMW

PS I could have sworn I saw one long pass from Douglas from the outside
of his right peg in the 1st half...?

Very true but it might just have been that they were too knackered to
keep up the pace of the first 70 minutes.
We'll get it back to level terms then take THEM to the cleaners in extra
time :-)
