Is there such a thing as a good Wetherspoons? My recollections of them are that after a few weeks of the novelty and thinking "ah this is nice, no tvs, no music" they then quickly become were either one of:
a) alchoholics hangout availing of the double vodka and redbull for 1.50 or b) packed to the gills with Barry McGuigan-esque moustachioed chavs about to rip off their Hackett polos and start a riot.
