Also keeping a close interest - largely as i'm flying out tomorrow and going to the 2 quarters in Vienna next week. Croatia buggered up the predictions a bit - so the game that could easily have been Germany v Portugal may well now be Croatia v the nasty Turks - which could be a bit tasty - have seen Croatia at a couple of other tournaments and their fans are not exactly shrinking violets. Other one looks like it'll be Spain v France / Italy - just hoping it doesn't turn into Romania v Russia. Footballs been pretty decent so far, with the exception of Austria's Kandol like finishing yesterday, despite everything i still think the Germans are favourites as they have much the easiest half of the draw, but i would be nice to see Holland or Spain hold their form for the whole tournament rather than disappear at the quarters like usual. So far (after 2 days), I'm a Princely £2.50 up :-) thanks to Yakim being the first scorer the other night, and Austria's late equaliser. To save too much agony, I'm going for the scores I originally predicted before the tournament started. Tonight I've gone for Holland 2 France 1 (9-1), Kuyt to score first (11-1) + the combination at 66-1 And Italy 1 Romania 0 (9-2), Pirlo (14-1) I think he's a great player too Rob, Everything effortless, the 1st touch - perfect. Combination is 45-1 One thing to beware on these scorecasts, as Ladbrokes call them. - You don't get the full multiple for the double bet. ie the combination bet on the first one above is not 120-1. Having thought about it, it is because they are not mutually exclusive events, such as a horse-racing double, or a double on the two matches. One part of the scorecast can influence the other. So they are not trying to 'do' you.
