nope, you're right he is a midfield player. If I remember correctly the
worry on the List when he signed was that an extra midfield player might
push hughes out to left back.

I think he's really a central midfielder, though I could be wrong? Can

If he is, then it might be a bit harsh to judge him on his performances
for Leeds if we accept that Howson's inability to find a white shirt in
the first half on Saturday was due to him being asked to stand 20 yards to
his right?
Given how our current midfield is performing though, I can't see a place
for Johnson now, so the loan move seems the best option for him.
