Don't count your chickens yet, this election won't be over until sometime in January when all the legal battles come to an end. Also, don't forget there are large swaths of this country where people have been openly chanting that Obama is a terrorist at Palin rally's, and there are morons walking around with buttons that say "Proud to vote for a hot chick" so there's some pretty stupid people here (as there are in all countries so don't you Yanks get all outraged) Here in New York as a democrat stronghold it's obviously very pro Obama and it can be easy to forget that there are large numbers of people dumb enough to vote for George W Bush TWICE.
I just dare not get my hopes up. Thank eff I've got a British passport, I'm seriously considering quitting the US if Palin and McCain get in, I can't think of a more toxic ticket.
