We've had a number of 'issues' recently with a MacAfee security routine, which uses up to 90+% CPU on our servers, when in kicks in very sporadically. Makes it look like all your apps are dying. mcscript_inuse.exe is the little feature - check http://community.mcafee.com/showthread.php?t=219100 if you use MacAfee and think this might be it! John
