I saw this - in reality it was all a bit of handbags really. Numpties hang
around, police tell them to move on, they argue their human rights (sic!), then
police charge and they all run away, yapping into their mobiles as they go. The
Miwwawwwl lot were short fat bald men, almost entirely, aside from one floppy
haired fop who was kicking a window in on the bus.

Very stereotyped prog - wasn't like they'd made their minds up already eh,
filming a Leeds v Miwwwawwl game. That said, we did have a large number of
numpties prepared to throw something and then run away! Battle of Beeston Hill
it was not! (not that I condone that type of fisticuffs against those Manc
scamps!!).

Was a bit where a numptie kicked a police dog - dog had last laugh as he mauled
another numptie on the deck. Prog showed police raid a couple of months later
arresting another numptie, who didn't even have the sense to put a coat on in
the icy weather. Probably threw it at his mam on the way out!!

All quite pathetic - really is about time all these blokes who are my sort of
age, and there looked to be a fair few of them, grew up!

Did anyone else see that Macintyre programme the other evening - CCTV
Cities? (or something like that).

It featured a Leeds V Millwall game and the police operation to keep the
fans apart, any guesses which fans came out of it with a poorer reputation?
(as if this were possible). Other than Millwall fans making a few finger
gestures suggesting we (Leeds fans) are either No.1 or No.2 and trashing
some First buses, it did not really focus on them at all. Personally if I
were ht e boss of first Bus and we had just has £10,000 of damage done to
the buses on the short journey from the station to the ground, there is no
amount of police pleading would get me to send them some fresh buses to get
them back, I would make the barstewards walk.

Any comments on the programme anyone?

Steve
