I know I'm a bit a late with this, struggled to get to a PC for the last couple
of days; booze; hangovers; booze; birthdays; Red Riding DVD; The Wire boxset
etc...but, last home game of the regular season...just few things to add to
Dave's words.

- attendance - where would you have squeezed another 6,500 in ER on Saturday...?

- N'hants were rubbish - came with the sole intention of not losing and failed

- We were "workmanlike" for the first half - Becchio's thumped header from a
full 4 yards out was a deserved lead, mainly because we'd been trying to score,
at least.

- Snodgrass made a huge difference - he looked refreshed - and suddenly we had
guile in our attacks - one of his first balls was the nicely weighted and
disguised ball through for Beckford's 34 (?) of the season.

- Robbo missed a sitter

- Frazer came on, rather puzzlingly at left back for 20 minutes - and looked
exactly what he was, rusty and out of position...

- v cute quick free kick, give and go, by Robbo for the third, followed by an
excellent cross and emphatic finish by Snodgrass - this came in the 90th minute
- 34,000 ish people jumped up and down, except the bloke next to us who was set
to win £80 on "2-0 to Leeds with Becchio scoring the first..." who just yelled
"bugger".

- some young ladies got v excited by Delph's taking off of his shirt in front
of the Kop on the lap of honour - for someone who looks so slight on a football
pitch, he has a fine pair of pecs on him

And so to fourth and Millwall.

Credit has to be handed to Grayson, I don't know quite what his average is but
it looks like something in the order of 2 points per game. And as Dave
rightfully pointed out, Macca deserves some thanks, not only for "finding"
Becchio (despite what I think of his qualities as a player, his hard work and
his goals this season can't be ignored) and Snodgrass, but also for giving some
of the youngsters a go - Delph, White, Parker...etc
