Must admit I have bad vibes about tonight - after the full house last home game
it is likely to be the smallest league crowd for some time, and comes in
between 2 huge league games v MK last Sat and Charlton this Sat (plus Liverpool
game). The Carlisle game seems to be slipping under everyones radar. OK they
are not great at the moment but no doubt they will be fired up for tonight and
we need to be the same to match them.
After 15 straight wins at home in the League and our unbeaten start to the
season something has to give sooner or later.
Add to that the fact that Higgs and Crowe , 2 players - Higgs especailly - who
have been part of our solid defensive work this season will be missing. Also
whilst Becchio will be back it is not certain that his head will be in the
right place after recent birth of his baby.
Hope I am totally wrong and it is just the usual pre match jitters - really
hope my match report does not start with "I was right \ I told you so" etc.
So over to you SG - make sure the boys are fired up and get the crowd, whatever
the size, right behind us to cheer us on to a good victory
Dave
