Carlsberg South West Peninsula League: Easter Ground-Hop: April 1, 2 & 3 2010.

The Carlsberg South West Peninsula League are pleased to announce the final
details, schedules, prices and information on Easter's Ground-Hop Event. The
event will run from Maundy Thursday (1 April) to Easter Saturday (3 April).

Whilst there is no official accommodation this year, those that require coach
transport to games are asked to stay in the city of Truro. The schedule will
see
seven matches with one on Thursday, and three each on both Good Friday and
Easter Saturday. Coach transport will be available on both Friday and Saturday.
On the Thursday night, trains from Truro on the "Maritime Branch Line" to
Falmouth, operate at least an hourly service.

The event starts with a Premier Division fixture on Maundy Thursday night (1
April) with Falmouth Town hosting St Blazey at the legendary Bickland Park. The
7.45pm kick-off has also been chosen to help those travelling down for the
weekend to have plenty of time to get to the game.

On Good Friday the schedule sees three games in the far West of Cornwall area
with first off a trip to the most Westerly ground in the "pyramid" as Mousehole
entertain Porthleven at Trungle Parc with an 11am kick off. We then trek to the
gloriously named Trevassack Park for the 3pm kick-off between hosts Hayle and
visitors Camelford. Friday concludes with a trip to Penlee Park for a Premier
Division encounter between Penzance and Torpoint Athletic with a 7pm kick off.

Saturday again sees three matches with the emphasis on central Cornwall this
time as we start the day with an 11am kick-off at League new comers Perranporth
who entertain Dobwalls at Ponsmere Valley. The Saturday afternoon match sees
the
local derby between Godolphin Atlantic and Newquay which is sure to draw a huge
crowd, kick off at Godolphin Way is 2.30pm. We then head inland to Foxhole
Stars
who complete the weekend with another local derby as they entertain St Austell
at Goverseth Park with a 6pm kick off.

Admission to all seven matches plus an information pack and tickets containing
directions, ground info etc is available at £25 per person. The seven host
clubs
will all receive a share of this money to cover your admission to all the
games.
Some clubs last year failed to charge non-ticket holders full price, but this
year clubs are being instructed to ensure ticket holders have not only the info
pack, but full value for money. The admission ticket price has also been frozen
at 2009 prices to give even more value for money.

Coach transport will be available for both Friday and Saturday at just £28 per
person with pick ups and drop offs outside Truro Railway station which is
central in the city each day plus on the Saturday evening we will also drop off
at St Austell railway station at 8.15pm. We are using a different coach firm
this time as we are based further west than last year. Tickets are now on sale
and will remain so until the 15 March when the coach firm require final
numbers.
To book your place please complete the attached form and send in your cheque as
soon as possible. We look forward to meeting up with you all at Easter.
