Hi
Having wrecked their chances of making more money in the cup and after our
own galling past it is only right and correct to take an interest in their
complete collapse :))

I'm no economist but all the same. Isn't this bond issue more than more of
the same but worse? It seems to that in order to pay of crippling debts they
have taken on a harder obligation. My understanding is that that they have
to pay more to service the debt. They only serviced the last lot by selling
the winker. And then in 2017 they gave to come up with the 500 million. If
not then they sell off assets or do this all over again.

If this is true then the have to be in fantastic shape just to service the
obligation or flog off players as they did last year. Now al this gets worse
when you take into account that Alex the Red Nose Reindeer is of late buying
rubbish that he will lose money on. He is going to retire or die by 2017 and
the team will be full of ageing prima donnas that will make any new managers
life impossible. Plus: Man City Villa and Spurs will be genuine contenders
[along with us by 2017 :))] which means that they are far from 'automatics
into Europe'. In fact I would say that for the next few years it is Chelsea
the Arse & ManCity plus one of the three - four from ManU, Villa & Spurs--
I wouldn't be surprised to see B'Ham join them [joined by us in 4 years] .

I remember some very erudite explanations in our hours of financial mayhem.
So maybe someone who knows what they are talking about [not me :((] can say
what is going on? I don't want to live in false hope that them and L'Pool
will be soon -15 points in the third division. Oh happy days if it were to
be so!

Today: I really just want to enjoy it & get back to getting promoted.

Michael
