When I had a kid ( in london) I used to go up for midweek games up in the
afternoon, back at 1 or 2am but weekends were off limits.

Now an split up and an alternate weekend parent, new nominally Charlton
supporting missus and non football liking son demand 100% of my time!

Plus working abroad a lot of the year and it means I have seen more live games
of FC Almaty (now defunct in a move that makes MK Dons legitimate) than leeds
in last 2 years

family killed the elland road experience except for the odd cameo now and
again... But have learned to live with it.

I'm fighting a losing a battle with my missus along the lines of "when
are you going to give up your season ticket [and grow up] and
concentrate on starting a family?".

I'm hanging on to ensure that a family and a season ticket are not
considered to mutually exclusive in this household.

Cheers

Mike
