I know there are instructions out on the net that show how to de-regionalize
(if that is a word) dvd players. I did it to my US dvd player to watch a UK dvd
and it worked perfectly. It was just a matter of pressing a few buttons on my
dvd remote control if I remember correctly. I do not know (remember) where
those instructions are and probably depends on the make of dvd but just google
it.

I was amazed how easy it was.

Subject: [LU] Non LUFC: A wee question

Is there anyone who can help with things DVD? A friend in the US copied the FA
Cup Third Round game between Sunderland and Barrow, it was shown on satellite
in most places around the world, and sent it over the a mate in the UK (I live
in NZ), when he tried to copy the disc, for personal reasons of course, he
couldnt even play the disc on his DVD or PC, as it was in US format. I thought
a multi-zone DVD player would be able to handle this, but apparently not. Is
there anyone out there who can advise how to get round this, please? Yours
perplexedly Ralph Kiwiland ------------------------------------------------
