Fair enough - the two are different - we don't have audio facility on PCs at work, so I went looking for a written version of the quote you mentioned and found the quote on the Leeds site. Looks like I wasn't alert to the Stalinist machinations of the LUFC PR people. The quote you posted was correctly transcribed, apologies due and given. The "reading" of that quote, however, is yours. What I don't get is the apparent willingness that you (and others) have to lay most of the "ills" (2nd top of the league with 2 games in hand and still in 2 cups...?) at the feet of Beckford. I simply don't get it, because there are opinions and arguments to be had about most things in football but it seems to me that a striker who has scored 23 (?) in half a season, is doing his job. His motives for doing that don't enter into it. Go to the web page and listen to the audio - the quote I gave is said at about 1 minute.
